1 lb flank steak or skirt steak, slice against the grain into thin slices
1 large yellow onion, sliced into strips
2 large peppers, sliced lengthwise into 1/2 inch wide strips
1c. sliced mushrooms
Marinade: 2 tbsp olive oil
1/2c. Jalapeno Death Sauce
All you need to do:
(1) Place steak slices in a large zip loc bag. Mix the olive oil and Jalapeno Death Sauce together and pour over steak. Let marinade for at least one hour.
(2) Heat large skillet on high heat. Add a teaspoon of olive oil and add steak. Cook approx 4 minutes on each side, or to desired doneness.
(3) Reduce the heat to medium high. Add the onions, mushrooms, and peppers and cook for approximately 5 minutes, until the onions are translucent.
(4) Serve immediately with shredded cheese, shredded lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, Blair’s Salsa, and warm tortillas. Pick your Death Sauce for dipping into some extra heat! ENJOY!!!
The beauty of Jalapeno Death (besides the incredible taste, with just enough of a kick for all to enjoy) is that it makes this recipe SOOOOO simple!! Instead of mixing up lots of ingredients to make the marinade, Jalapeno Death is already the perfect mix!!!
