Dear Chilipal,
On this Memorial Day (as I have been barraged with emails and newspaper ads for “Memorial Day sales”), I feel compelled to say what I feel is important. No, not a “special” on hot sauce, nor a reserve to promote, but a heartfelt “Thank you” to the men and women who have given their lives and those who continue to fight for the very freedom we have.
As I have received so many letters, emails, and phone calls from those in all branches of services, thanking me for the sauces and snacks I make, I can only humbly smile and say, “THANK YOU!” Thank you for enabling me to spread smiles, one tongue at a time… for you are the real heroes. You make the words “FEEL ALIVE” have a much deeper meaning!
