This week’s newsletter is dedicated to the Fiery Foods Show. It is really for the people (Chiliheads For Sure) I met out there. What an amazing experience! And, I say that with all sincerity. As I have exhibited at over 120 food shows since 1989, there is still nothing like Dave Dewitt’s Fiery Foods Show. Why??? In my opinion, it is because it is where the most amazing group of Chiliheads unite from all over the World. I caught up with old friends, made many new ones, met those who I have emailed or spoken with for years but never seemd to meet in person. It was so awesome to feel the energy of such a community, one that is like no other.
Along with Gary, Rachelle, and my wife, Kerri, I had the chance to debut our New Death Jerky and Sudden Death Jerky. WOW, what a response !!!!!!!!!!!! We also sampled our new Golden Death Sauce, Salsa, Queso, and Wing Sauce, plus so much more. I just couldn’t be happier with everyone’s reactions. As you can see above, everyone had a blast visiting our booth (and we had a blast lighting everyone up!).
The N4-99 Reserve sold out mighty fast and many Chiliheads got to see the all new Death Coffins for Sudden, Mega, and Ultra Death (coming out soon!). Enjoy all the photos from the show. More will be posted on our blog soon. Thank you again for making it the most amazing show ever!!!!!
P.S. Here is a funny one for those of you who ordered one of the 99 bottles of the Golden Death Reserve (or should I say, Platinum). Ok, so get this. The email announcement went out late, it was a travel day to New Mexico, and I was on the phone with my web dude. I gave him the price, $49.95 (I know that price was a bargain), but he thought I said $29.95. So he put it up on the site and sent the email. By the time I looked at my Blackberry, they were Sold Out !!! So, good for you if you got one. Enjoy um!!

FEATURED RECIPE OF THE WEEK:
DEATH RAIN CRAB CAKES

All you need:
1 lb can Jumbo Lump Crab Meat
4 oz pulverized Blair’s Death Rain Chips (your favorite kind)
1 Egg
1 Tbsp Light Mayo
1 Tbsp Deli Mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp Chopped Parsley
1 Stalk Celery, finely chopped
1/2 Red Pepper, chopped
1/2 Small Onion, chopped
Flour for dusting
Oil for pan frying
Pulverize 4oz of your favorite Blair’s Death Rain Chips by using a rolling pin over the bag of chips (roll until chips are in fine pieces). Beat egg well and mix beaten egg with mayo through onion. Add crushed chips and mix well. Gently fold in crab. Form into approx eight, 4 inch by 1/4 inch thick cakes. Heat skillet with about 1/4 inch of oil. Dredge cakes in seasoned flour (try Chipotle Death Rain Spice!). Fry on each side until golden brown over medium heat.
Serve with quick easy Pure Death Remoulade Sauce:
1/4 cup Light Mayo
1 tbsp Stone Ground Mustard
1 tbsp Pure Death
1 tsp Capers (if you have them!)
Mix and Enjoy!!!
